RIO ESCONDIDO PROPERTIES - 30 miles north of Uvalde and about 10 miles south Camp Wood, in the small community of Montell, Texas along the Nueces River is Rio Escondido Properties, the perfect spot for a quiet relaxing time on the beautiful Nueces River. Watching the wildlife and sunrises in the mornings and star gazing at night, these quiet cabin will not disappoint. The blue hole of crystal clear water is amazing! The river is great for swimming, fishing, snorkeling, or kayaking. The cabins have everything you need to enjoy your stay. This property has a common area with a swing set, horse shoe pitch area and river entrance. Just bring clothes and food.
You will also enjoy the wonderful Texas Hill Country with its spectacular scenery. Bird watching, biking, hiking, hunting are very popular in this area. The scenic and quiet roads through the hill country are ideal for long drives by car or motorcycle. Search the web for (the twisted sisters, hill country).
THE AFRAME - This fully furnished riverfront cabin will sleep up to 10, with master bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, upstairs (only accessible from outside) has 2 queen beds then the loft has one full. The living room has a sofa, a love seat, and a large futon (that can sleep two) along with a rock fireplace. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, and microwave, and a table that will seat six. This home comes with its own private river entrance with a BBQ pit and cement slab that will hold umbrellas. It also has a play house with a/c for kids and a fish cleaning station. There is an RV hookup (electric & water only) available on request for an additional charge of $50/per day.
THE DRAGON FLY

Off to the side, you will find a BBQ pit and a fire pit area with chairs for cooking s'mores and to cozy up to on those cool Texas nights. It also has an air conditioned playhouse for the little ones. This Treehouse has a master bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with two queen beds, a full bath, kitchen, and living area.
